i wanted to take a second and point people to my visual diary that i have to keep for my photography class. it's got a lot of shots i took and some discussion on random visual things that i find interesting.

hair metal knife face

I suppose it could be said that I don't take very good notes. I don't know why it is, probably my attention span, but I just always sort of degrade myself into doodles. I'm sure it doesn't help much that I take most of my notes directly into my sketch book. Those pages always seem disappointed when faced with not but words.
That said, these notes actually did help me study for my quiz that I had in this class the other day. I mean, I diagrammed that mic cable rather accurately.

afro deezie

Some more sketches, this time a sweet couple of people faces, one afro guy and some Asian-looking girl. Also a rockin' sketch of a dude kick-flipping a 10set and some thumbnail doodles i did for a couple spreads of the Holiday issue of Garnet & Black.

contour line drawings

I mentioned in an earlier post that BK had gotten me into this like.. drawing without picking up your pen thing. And so this is the first couple of things that I really tried drawing when I was like, "Yeah. That's awesome."
So Horray.

french plates

i dunno, this is just a picture i drew a while back of a guy spinning plates, and he happens to be french.

mixing potions

I'm probably updating in the wrong order, considering this is a later update in a series of drawings that I've been doing over the past week or so. I think BK kind of inspired me to start trying to draw without picking up the pen, and it's given me a lot of interestin results. I've also really been feeling wizards of late, like I can't get enough of them. So, as a result, this is what I ended up drawing. I think I drew it on the plane to KC,mo .. but I can't be sure.
