poem

i haven't updated this in a forever but i was working on brainstorming ideas for my animation project and wrote this part of a poem/song about some barnyard animals being involved in a skirmish of some sorts.

edit: i actually finished it, and it has been edited accordingly.

"barnyard hijinx"

it was a summers day,
or as the cows would say,
moo moo moo moo moo

all the birds were out
just peckin about
trying to find some food

when a couple balls of sass
from a lower class
started messin with her crew

a hen jumped up
and she started to cluck
yeah she knew just what to do

"don't be so obtuse!"
she said to Moose,
the biggest of the group.

she was actin' tough
'cause she'd had enough,
it was time to protect the coop.

now, this Moose was a pig,
and he was mighty big,
with stature to match his name.

but this hen didn't care
she just fixed him a glare
and made him turn his tail in shame

"don'tcha ever come back!"
said a duck with a quack
as the pigs moved on their way

though the mocking one sneered,
all the other birds cheered
the old hen had saved the day.
